This privacy policy explains the documented ways PromoPinball collects and manages personal information when you join an available email signup form or contact the publication. It also explains the choices available for accessing or removing newsletter records.
Email signup
PromoPinball may present an invitation that says: “Join the PromoPinball list for future articles and reading suggestions.” When the signup form is displayed, it asks for your email address and requires explicit agreement to the statement: “I agree to receive email updates from PromoPinball.”
Submitting the form creates a newsletter record in the site’s WordPress database. That record includes your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate signups, the signup time, the source page path without its query string or fragment, the consent wording you accepted and the collection status.
This signup supports collection for possible future updates. Email delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe functions require separate configuration, so submitting the form does not promise a particular sending schedule or mean that an active mailing service is currently operating.
Spam prevention
The signup system uses temporary rate-limiting records to reduce automated or repeated submissions. These records use hashed network identifiers and are subject to periodic cleanup.
Contact messages
If you email PromoPinball, the message contains the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, message text and any attachments you send. Please avoid including information that is not needed for your request.
Record access and retention
Authorized administrators can view, export and remove newsletter signup records. These records remain in the WordPress database until an administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed. PromoPinball’s newsletter records also integrate with the WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools.
Your choices
You may request access to or removal of your newsletter signup record by emailing contact@promopinball.com. Identify the email address used for the signup so the relevant record can be located. If you contact PromoPinball from a different address, additional information may be needed to identify the correct record.
Links to other websites
PromoPinball articles may link to websites operated by other parties. Those websites maintain their own privacy information and practices. Review the relevant site’s privacy policy before providing personal information there.
